Awesome Best Dad Ever Printable via Yesterday on Tuesday.

We have one here for that special Dad at your house! Technically it is a sewing project, but I have to admit, there’s not too much sewing here! It’s quick and fun and we can make a game out of it to see who’s Dad wears it the longest! hehehe…
Ready let’s go!

Materials:
First Download the awesome printable from Yesterday on Tuesday for her perfect Cupcake Toppers. Or you can draw your own center piece!
Two pieces of fabric scraps.
Fusible interfacing
about 12″ of Ribbon
Pinking Shears
(1) Safety Pin

Step 1: Cut out 2 circles, (1) 4″ circle and (1) 3″ circle, from cardstock. Or you can just draw your circles on the interfacing. And then cut out the fusible interfacing slightly larger than the circles. And cut the fabric scraps slightly larger than the interfacing.

Step 2: Iron on the fusible interfacing to the fabric. This just gives it a little stability. Technically you could probably skip this step, I guess!

Step 3: Cut out the circles with the pinking shears.

Step 4: Cut two little slits in the larger piece for your pin. I inserted the pin for clarity. You don’t really want to leave it in just yet.

Step 5: Sew on the ribbon. Stitch in the center of the smaller circle at an angle. This helps it fold over in the triangle shape.

Step 6: Stack the three circles and topstitch them together.

Step 7: Now add the pin.

Step 8: Find your Best Dad Ever and give him the best award there is. A Hug! AND the award ribbon!
