Create Marbled Designs on Fabric

Marble fabric with shaving cream? Wuh? Yes, it’s true. You can create marbled designs on fabric with shaving cream and a few supplies. Threads shows how in this video tutorial.

Supplies

  • Foam Shaving cream (not gel)
  • Water based fabric inks or paints
  • Eye droppers
  • Tooth picks or straws to apply inks
  • Wood skewers or a rake to pull ink designs
  • Plain white fabric (natural fibers are best)
  • Offset icing spatula
  • Squeegee or other scraping tool
  • Flat work surface
  • Water
  • paper towels
  • Iron
  • Press Cloth
