• strips of fabric cut to 2 and 1/4″ (for larger quilts cut to 2 and 1/2″ strips)
• rotary cutter
• cutting mat (with 45 degree angle on it)
• pins
• scissors
• iron
• ironing surface
• ruler
• sewing machine with 1/4″ foot
