Scrappy State Applique Tutorial

September 22, 2014 by Heather Damron

Pillow 041_thumb[3]

I adore customized state pieces. This tutorial is a super fun way to represent where you live (or wish you lived!) – you can use the applique for a pillow, a tee…wherever it’ll stick!

You’ll find the tutorial over at Decor and the Dog!

Supplies:

  • 2 printed maps of your state (counties included). Cardstock is preferred.
  • Fabric scraps.
  • Heat N Bond.
  • Your sewing stuff

Skill Level:  Adventurous Beginner
