June 2, 2014 by Heather Damron

Warm weather has arrived in this hemisphere, and with it, shorter hemlines…even for baby! Sometimes, it’s too hot for anything other than a diaper. But most of the time, diapers are pretty ugly.

Solution? Cover them up in custom made diaper covers!

You find a  great tutorial and free pattern for these cute diaper covers over at Dana Made It!

Supplies:

  • 1/3-1/2 of a yard of fabric (cotton, linen, knit, satin, corduroy, whatever!)
  • 1/4 inch elastic for the legs
  • 3/8 inch or 1/2 inch Elastic for the waist (any kind)
  • your sewing stuff
  • sewing machine or serger (optional)

Skill Level: Adventurous Beginner
