Cardigan Conversion Tutorial

June 4, 2014 by Heather Damron

_MG_1124

Confession. I’m kind of a packrat and still have tons of clothes from prepregnancy. Like bins and bins of stuff I can hardly even squeeze into.

The thing that makes me the most sad about this are some of the great sweaters. I’m so thrilled to have run across this great tutorial – I can turn some of my beloved sweaters into cardis that FIT! YAY!

You’ll find the tutorial by Delia of Delia Creates featured over at I Am Momma, Hear Me Roar.

Supplies:

  • a too small sweater
  • two strips of complimentary fabric
  • buttons or toggles & elastic
  • your sewing supplies

Skill Level:  Adventurous Beginner
