Featured: Urban Princess Dress Tutorial

December 21, 2013 by Heather Damron

For my two year old daughter, every day requires a dress, the fancier, the better. And though she looks a little ridiculous heading out to help with grocery shopping in a full length satin princess gown, I choose my battles.

I love this Urban Princess Dress from Domestic Bliss Squared – and the great tutorial featured over at their blog! You can choose easy wash fabrics that are soft and comfy, so your little princess can still be fancy, but also comfortable.

Supplies:

  • about a yard and a half of fabric for the skirt
  • 2 inch elastic for the waistband
  • a coordinating tank top that fits the recipient of the dress

Skill level:

Adventurous Beginner
