Yes, industrial flatlockers are a whole different machine! They actually cut the raw edges as the seam is being done. I’d love to see one in action one day…for the meantime, this will have to do!

I was getting these results with just fiddling around on my serger, but wasn’t sure I was doing it quite right. It didn’t look like commercially flatlocked seams! But you put it all together so logically that, in concert with my discovery that industrial flatlockers are different and quite expensive, I now feel I’m on the right path. Thank you!
