Living in the Pacific Northwest, umbrellas become an extension of the arm in the fall/winter/spring…and let’s face it, many summers too. However, rain is no reason to sacrifice style! Make an old raggedy umbrella good as new and totally chic with this genius tutorial from Me Sew Crazy!

Supplies:

  • 2 yards of fabric
  • an old umbrella with a metal top
  • 1 extra large eyelet
  • scissors
  • thread
  • needle for hand sewing
  • scrap of velcro
  • silicone waterproofing spray
