Why have plain sheets when you can have RUFFLES? I mean, is there even a question? Ruffles just make everything fancy. And according to my two-year old daughter, the fancier the better. Okay, she didn’t really say that, but I’m making a wild guess based on her elaborate ensembles (five tutus at a time, anyone?).
Want some fancy ruffled sheets of your own? They’re quite simple to make, especially with this step by step tutorial from The Train to Crazy! So go ahead and get your fancy on!
Supplies:
- a flat sheet that you want to make fancy
- a strip of fabric at least 4″ wide by about twice as wide as your sheet. The longer it is, the rufflier your ruffle will be.
- the usual sewing supplies
Skill level:
Beginner.
