Both of my children are violent sleepers – meaning, they can not, will not keep a blanket on while they sleep. Then they wake up cold – several times nightly. No fun for this mama. Enter sleep sacks . We love them! But they are pretty pricey – so I’m pretty much in love with this tutorial from Make It-Love It showing how to make your own for about half the price (or less). Make them in fleece for winter or a lighter fabric for summer. Awesome!

- 22 inch zipper (the length will vary, depending on the size you make)
