Looking for a fun way to use up some scrap fabric? How about making one of these Architect Skirts? This fun tutorial from The Sewing Dork helps you create a skirt that is totally unique and will delight any little girl!

Supplies:

  • For the back panel: fabric 42 inches wide by 17 inches high
  • For front panel: several scraps of fabric
  • For waistband:  22 inches of waistband elastic
  • For hem: 62 inches of double fold bias tape (optional)
  • The usual sewing supplies

Skill level:

Adventurous Beginner.
