Featured: Little Girls Crossover Pinafore Tutorial

February 18, 2013 by Andrea's Notebook

Spring is coming…I’m hopeful it is, at least. Then, summer. And nothing is cuter on a wee baby girl in the summertime than a pinafore! You can make your own with this fantastic tutorial (with free PDF pattern, no less) over at Smashed Peas and Carrots. There’s also a post showing how the pinafore transitions from infant wear into an adorable toddler top. You’ve got to love the versatility!

pinafore

Supplies:

  • 1 yard of fabric for the outer fabric
  • 1 yard of fabric for the inner fabric
  • two buttons (covered button kit recommended)
  • coordinating thread
  • the pattern pdf
  • The usual sewing supplies

Adventurous beginner.
