Have you forayed into the world of sewing zipper pouches yet? They really are a great way to learn how to install a zipper. One of the things I was never fond of, however, was the way the zipper ends are tucked into the pouch making a rather awkward corner at the top. Thankfully Noodlehead has solved this problem for us all with her Open Wide Zip Pouch tutorial.
Supplies:
- fabric, 1/4 yard would be plenty
- zipper, at least 10″ long or longer
- thread
- interfacing of your choice
- scrap for zipper end pull
Skill level:
Beginner (you can do this!)
