Maternity Dress Tutorial

It’s a known fact that stylishly dressing a pregnant body can sometimes be challenging. But this dress is so adorable, I’d wear it NOT pregnant. The Peter Pan collar is just the right touch and the knit fabric has lots of give and is super soft and comfy without being frumpy. Perfection.

You can sew one for yourself or a pregnant friend (who will be so very grateful!) using this wonderful tutorial by Lizzie from Cotton and Curls via DIY Maternity!

  1. Looks like a comfy maternity dress in a classic style: Peter Pan collar at top, empire waist sewn in a conservative stripe knit fabric. Love the bright blue belt & shoes… any color of accessories could be added to this dress. Sarah Helene in Minneapolis

  2. I am appalled at the photo of a very pregnant female with such outlandish shoes! NOT smart!
