Make your own pattern weights

My faux pattern weights I used in this tutorial brought out all kinds of suggestions from readers on the blog and Facebook! You can buy pattern weights
to keep your patterns laying flat while you cut the pieces (in lieu of pinning). But why buy when you can make some? We’ve rounded up some fun tutorials to help you make your own sewing pattern weights.

    I took the white caps that go on the bottom of chairs (they look like lids) and filled each with white plaster of paris, leftover from a Girl Scout project. Cute, clean and easy.
